Sacred Dust: What It Means and Why It Matters To Be Made in the Image of God
Join us for a week of fellowship and study in God's Word for our youth in 6th-12th grade.
What is the most pressing question of our day? Undoubtedly, different questions could be put forward. But few will deny that there is a pressing need today for the Church to be able to articulate biblical truth regarding what it means to be human—what it means to bear God’s image—with clarity, competency, and godly character.
Our study this summer will seek to address what it means and why it matters that mankind is made in the image of God. Thankfully, Scripture has much to tell us regarding the humbling privilege woven into our creation. We will seek to mine the depths of such passages as Genesis 1:26-29, 2:7-8, Psalm 139:1-18, Matthew 19:4-6, and Acts 17:24-31. Along the way, we will address such topics as human dependence on God, human worth as his image, and pressing issues touching gender identity.
