About the event
Join us for a time of fellowship and growing spiritually in this overnight retreat for the men (ages 8+) of Northpointe Church. We'll be staying at Lake Forest Ranch in Macon, MS, just a little over an hour from the church. Our speaker will be David Irving, new president of RTS Jackson, and former pastor of Woodland Presbyterian Church in Hattiesburg.
Registration
Cost: $35.00
This includes the overnight stay, dinner Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and the use of ranch facilities.
Saturday Only: $15.00
This includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday and the use of ranch facilities.
Please register online by October 12. Submit a separate form for each person. Make payments by cash or check and leave in the lockbox in the church foyer. Make checks payable to Northpointe or put cash in an envelope with your name.

Free time to enjoy the ranch facilities (ping-pong tables, carpet ball, indoor & outdoor basketball courts, beach volleyball court, tennis courts, gaga ball, disc golf course, kayaks, john boats, amphitheater and fishing —no license required)

Our group will stay in a youth cabin with a bathroom including two showers, two toilets, and two sinks, which divides the cabin in half with 5 bunks and 1 queen-size bed on each side
Please bring sheets for a single bed, pillow, blanket or sleeping bag, towel, and necessary toiletries

Dr. David T. Irving serves as President and Assistant Professor of Church History and Pastoral Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. He was appointed to the role in June 2025, following faithful service as Pastor of Woodland Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
A graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary (MDiv, 2015), Dr. Irving also holds a PhD from the University of Mississippi. He is the author of Devote Yourself to Prayer: A Call to Pastors (Reformation Heritage Books, 2023), and brings a rich combination of pastoral experience and academic training to his leadership at RTS Jackson.
With a deep commitment to the church and theological education, Dr. Irving is passionate about preparing students for faithful gospel ministry marked by both doctrinal depth and pastoral care.
He is married to Sarah Grafton Irving, and they have four children.
