Spring Fling

We hope you will be a part of Vacation Bible School June 2-6, 2008 as we go on a Faith Expedition!

Come be a part of the celebration as we  spend a special time focusing on our Kingdom Treasures with children. Big and small roles available from kitchen to classroom.

Youth News

There will be a Youth Fellowship on Friday, April 4 from 6:00—9:30pm at the Steeles’ home (6128 - 14th Avenue). 
                   Dinner will be provided.

We will have a Youth Parent meeting at the church on Friday, April 18 at 6:30pm.
                   Dinner will be provided.

Fellowship Meal

There will be a Fellowship lunch immediately following the morning worship service on Sunday, April 6.  Plan to stay fo rthis time of great food and wonderful fellowship.  The church will provide the meat, bread and drinks.  You are asked to bring side dishes and desserts.  There will be no evening service.

From the Elders

Some of the actions taken at the March meeting of the   Session were:
Approved the request from the WIC to purchase a communion table for the sanctuary.  It has been ordered and should be here in 4-6 weeks.
Approved Grace Hunt (with thanks) to be the VBS Director this year.
Approved the use of Great Commission Publications    literature for VBS.
Approved the request to    extend the Wednesday Night Program through April 23.
Set our quarterly observance of the Lord’s Supper for April 6.

Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper

We will observe the Lord’s Supper during morning worship service on Sunday, April 6.

WIC News

April 12 – MS Valley PresWIC   meeting at First Presbyterian Church, Kosciusko, MS. Registration 9:30 am, Meeting 10:00 am. Lunch $5. Anyone interested should sign up on the sheet located on the  bulletin board in the hallway or call Jenny Hertel (513-2984). We need to register by April 7. No childcare since this is on a    Saturday.  We will be carpooling from the church.
April 18 – Monthly WIC meeting,         11:00 am to 1:00 luncheon at Amy Lindley’s home (8450 NE Pine Drive). Sylvia McEachin   will be giving her testimony.  Childcare will be provided at the church.  Please RSVP to Sarah Benton    (483-9812) if you will need   childcare.)

Wednesday Night Program

God has blessed our Wednesday Night Program so it will be extended through April 23.  Plan to continue to be a part of this wonderful timeof food, fellowship, and instruction.
